Child/Forced/Compulsory Labor Policy

Updated on: September 2024

Tanvex BioPharma USA, Inc., (“Tanvex”) is explicitly committed to respecting all internationally recognized human rights standards consistent with our core values of Teamwork, Tenacity, Innovation, Diversity, Empowerment and Excellence.

Tanvex is committed to the prevention of child/forced/compulsory labor. Consistent with this commitment, Tanvex will not hire any individual younger than 18 years of age.

For purposes of this policy, “child” is defined as 16 years of age or younger, unless national, state or local law stipulates a higher minimum working age, which shall apply. Tanvex will not knowingly establish relationships with businesses who hire child labor or who use forced (prison/indentured or bonded) labor. As is reasonably achievable, these standards apply to our supply chain vendors, suppliers and third-party contractors. If any human rights issues arise, we will work with these vendors/suppliers’ leaders to address them as appropriate.

Tanvex encourages all employees and other stakeholders to report perceived violations of human rights. These may be reported to any member of Tanvex management or Human Resources. Additionally, a dedicated anonymous communication system is provided for individuals to report online. Any individual who reports suspected violations of human rights as outlined in this policy may do so without fear of retaliation or reprisal.
