Human Rights Statement

Tanvex BioPharma USA, Inc., (“Tanvex”) is explicitly committed to respecting all internationally recognized human rights standards consistent with our core values of Teamwork, Tenacity, Innovation, Diversity, Empowerment and Excellence.

Tanvex commits to conducting business in an ethical and responsible manner by respecting the internationally recognized human labor rights and standards, as outlined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and International Labour Organization’s Declaration on Fundamental Rights and Principles at Work, that are fundamental and to which all people are entitled. Tanvex’s Human Resources Policies are written to support these rights and standards and apply to all employees, and reflect our priority of non-discrimination in the workplace, accessibility for persons with disabilities, the prevention of child and forced/compulsory labor, the right to fair and equal pay and wages, the right to a healthy and safe working environment, the right of freedom of association and assembly and the right to collective bargaining. In addition, as is reasonably achievable, these standards apply to our supply chain vendors, suppliers and third party contractors. If any human rights issues arise, we will work with these vendors and suppliers to review and address.

 

In addition Tanvex is committed to ensuring that the human rights of people taking part in our clinical research are protected both through informed consent and procedures to protect patient privacy.

 

Tanvex encourages all employees and other stakeholders to report perceived violations of human rights. These may be reported to any member of Tanvex management or Human Resources. Additionally, a dedicated anonymous communication system is provided for individuals to report online. Any individual who reports suspected violations of human rights as outlined in this policy may do so without fear of retaliation or reprisal.
